Our Stone Valley community has been through so much since March 2020.  Our students, teachers, administrators, and families have made an infinite number of adjustments, adapting to each set back, each advancement, and every uncertainty.  While we’ve learned that life enjoys throwing us curveballs, we are optimistic that our kids will be able to return to Stone Valley, full-time, for the academic year 2021-2022.  In all, we are looking forward to a bright, busy, and exciting school year ahead and invite you to join PTA and be a part of this fresh start!

Like you, PTA is here for your kids.  Our mission?

“. . . to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.”

PTA supports many programs for Stone Valley including:

·      Extracurricular academics

·      Lunchtime activities and music

·      Hospitality and teacher & staff appreciation events

·      Run Club

·      Sister School

·      ROAR store

·      Red Ribbon Week

·      Kindness/Words Matter Week

·      8th Grade Promotion, and more!

BUT, we can’t do it without your help.  Our classroom volunteering days may have dwindled, but it’s enthusiastic, caring parents like you who dedicated an hour - or many hours - of their time to keep our Stone Valley Pride active and involved.  With luck on our side, this is going to be a special year of celebrating getting back to normal!  If you have time and interest, please be sure to let us know when you register or visit our “Volunteers Needed” list for opportunities throughout the school year.*  We have open spots in PTA and we welcome your perspectives and special talents to make Stone Valley’s reopening exceptional for our school community.  All on-campus volunteers* must go through the BE A MENTOR program to be cleared for on campus volunteering, such as lunch duties and field trips. Here is the link for more details on how to become an approved volunteer*!

As a PTA member, you will also have access to membership perks offered by the California State PTA and the National PTA. PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization TAX ID: 94-2627359
