STONE VALLEY PTA CALENDAR   2023 - 2024

Thank you for visiting Stone Valley PTA’s homepage.
You have questions?  We have answers!

What is PTA’s role in my student’s education?
PTA’s mission is “to positively impact the lives of all children and families.”  We work with teachers, administrators, community members, the school district, and of course, our students, to further their education and improve their physical and mental well-being.

What does PTA do at Stone Valley?
Stone Valley Middle School’s PTA supports a number of programs including:
  • Assemblies
  • Lunchtime activities and music
  • Hospitality for teacher & staff appreciation events
  • Field Day
  • Family Engagement events
  • Sister School- Riverview Middle School in Bay Point
  • Reflections Art Program
  • ROAR store
  • Red Ribbon Week
  • Words Matter / Kindness Week
  • Alumni Scholarship
  • 8th Grade Promotion, and more!

Why should I join Stone Valley Middle School PTA?
  • To help Stone Valley provide the best possible education to all our students
  • To meet new friends through volunteer opportunities
  • To let your voice be heard at our Association and Executive Board meetings
  • To share your talents with Stone Valley - arts, hospitality, accounting or legal background, we have a place to let your skills shine
  • To hear from our Principal, first-hand, about what is going on at Stone Valley
  • To help your student succeed- studies show parental involvement is key to a student’s academic and behavioral success
  • To use PTA’s membership perks

If you have time and interest, please be sure to let us know when you register or visit our “Volunteers Needed” list for opportunities throughout the school year.  We have open spots in PTA and we welcome your perspectives and special talents to make Stone Valley exceptional for our school community.
All on-campus volunteers must go through the BE A MENTOR program to be cleared for on campus volunteering, such as lunch duties and field trips. Here is the link for more details on how to become an approved volunteer!
As a PTA member, you will also have access to membership perks offered by the California State PTA and the National PTA. PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization TAX ID: 94-2627359.
