Bike/Scooter Safety
In the interest of keeping all students and our community safe during student drop off and pick up, we've instituted bike/scooter infractions for students not following Street Smarts practices such as weaving in traffic and crossing in the middle of the street (not at a crosswalk). Multiple announcements have been made to students regarding these expectations.
Students exchibing unsafe behavior will have the following consequences:
1st Infraction: Notification by email to parent/guardian and lunchtime detention for the student.
2nd Infraction: Possible parent/guardian meeting at Stone Valley Middle School with Principal White and lunchtime detention for the student.
3rd Infaction: Loss of privilege of riding bike/scooter to school.
